Jake & Emma Bullock Columbia River Washington Temple Bridal Session

My gorgeous cousin Emma was married last winter & while I had to miss her actual wedding day, we made sure I was there to take her first look & bridal photos at the Columbia River Temple the day before! They got married December 19th and can you believe how great the grounds still looked?? We still had grass… GREEN grass! We had a pretty warm winter in the beginning, so I’m grateful for that! As pretty as snow can be, I still love some color if I can get it!

Although Emma & Jake grew up about an hour from each other, they didn’t meet until after serving their missions & being back home in Washington during the pandemic. They are the perfect pair & I am so happy for them!

Emma rented her wedding dress and veil from an adorable shop in Rexburg, Idaho called Mariah’s Bridal. Renting your wedding dress isn’t for everyone, but it really can be a great option! She also opted for a long cathedral length veil compliment her beautiful beaded gown train to add some drama since the dress didn’t have much of a train, and boy did it come through! We spent the afternoon wandering around the grounds & soaking it all up before they tied the knot the next morning.

After their wedding, they moved to Rexburg, Idaho while Jake went to school & Emma began her lash extension business. If you need a lash girl in Eastern Idaho, she’s your girl! Now they are home for the summer & I am so excited to have them close again! We will miss them when they head back in the fall.
