Allred Family - Royal City Family Session

Carly reached out to me to take their family photos right before their oldest son Tyler headed off to college. This family is so near and dear to my heart. I have had the opportunity to watch their children for extended periods of time several times in the past five or so years. They are all so much fun and have the sweetest personalities. I loved when they would ask me to stay with them for a while. So I was so excited to be able to take their family photos and document the last time they were all living under the same roof together!

We met one beautiful afternoon at their home on the Royal Slope. Carly invited me inside and told me what her plan was for these photos. She had a large empty space above her staircase leading to the basement, that was a focal point from the foyer of their home. She explained that she wanted one great family photo to print on canvas & have framed to hang in that space for many many years to come. The pressure was on!

We all piled in a couple vehicles and made our way up to the top of Frenchman Hills next to their home. Overlooking the Royal Slope, we started their session in the grasslands atop the hill before moving into the lush family orchard nearby.

I had to get a good shot of Mom & Dad with their oldest who is just about to leave their cozy little nest! Good luck at college Tyler! I know you’ll be missed!

We had some time left after the. orchard so we headed back to the grass to catch the last light. After this holding hands shot, one of the little girls insisted on a “COVID 6 Feet Apart” shot to end the night, so we gave her what she wanted!
